Around 2006 I took a course in "Alternative Medicine Expanding Medical Horizons: A Report to the National Institutes of Health on Alternative Medical Systems in the United States." That course became a defining moment for me and has shaped my life as an explorer and pioneer of "us" -- our abilities and the human condition. It recommended that more research was needed in areas that I had a vested interest and wanted to participate in: intuition, energy medicine and human interaction in and with the non-local environment.
Visualization and positive-thought analogies were part of caring for our chemotherapy patients back in 1980. I reasoned that by 2006 there would be all sorts of interesting research being done in these areas and maybe I could volunteer and work with others toward developing our human potential. I found that various sciences were pursuing intuitive research, each from their particular point of view regarding possible expectations and applications. A variety of cross-disciplinary sciences who, out of necessity had each developed their own reporting systems and language, often similar and often overlapping.

When I found Magnetocardiography and Magnetocardiograms in FDA Clinical Trial, I went to work. MCGs are pivotal in our evolutionary understanding of human functioning. Here were scientists, physicians publishing their findings about a piece of us, as humans, that had never been explored before! Nursing recognizes the Energy Medicine modalities of Therapeutic Touch and Healing Touch, but until now the "aura" had always been considered unmeasurable. Similarly, the Global Coherence Initiative is recording blips on their data screens when large numbers of people focus on a global event. HeartMath is correlating finite emotional and physical data in the evolving subspecialty of Neurocardiology.
Patricia Benner, PhD., RN, laid the foundation and became the gold standard for further exploration of human intuition with her From Novice to Expert: Excellence and Power in Clinical Nursing Practice. Pursuing my investigation of nursing intuition, I began to study Controlled Remote Viewing with Lyn Buchanan, former member of the Stargate Unit. Used by the United States Military Intelligence as an adjunct information-gathering tool, CRV is a process that with practice and training, develops our intuitive ability to record sensory information across time and space... beyond Benner's Fifth Competency.
The first issue of Aesthetic Impact eNews will be dedicated to the upcoming webconference guest speakers and their topics. Subscription to Aesthetic Impact eNews is free, and will give you access to announcements, webinars and articles from the many sources that cross my desk. You may unsubscribe at any time.
The road to Now has been a long one, but worth it. I hope you find the newsletters informative. The webconferences were designed as informal gathering places for discussion and sharing ideas. I hope you find them informative and enjoyable as well.
We build on the work of the pioneers before us. Second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning. Join us in the journey.
