Anomalous Perturbation / Psychokinesis
Teresa L. Frisch, RN, Reiki Master / Teacher 3.10.09
I was fortunate enough to meet Russell Targ at the International Remote Viewing Association conference in 2007. I was grateful, and thanked him for all his efforts in researching parts of our human abilities that are difficult to imagine, let alone prove. I hope one day to meet Hal Puthoff and do the same.
Both of these gentlemen are physicists, and were instrumental in formulating theories and conducting research at the Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, California in the 1970’s. Remote viewing receives a large portion of credit for all that they accomplished, but while learning about remote viewing, they studied something very personal to me: anomalous perturbation, or psychokinesis (PK).
Loosely defined, PK is “mind over matter” (“Psychokinesis”), and I can do it. I don’t “believe that I ‘seem’ to be able to do it.” Proven or not, I know I can. The only reason I am making this post is to introduce even the thought of it to you, because someday I think it will become important enough to make scientific journals and headlines as part of our human abilities.
Sitting in your chair reading this, you may be asking yourself just how it is that I “know” that I can affect things. At first I just noticed an event every now and then, like the dimming of a light when I walked by. Then I started watching, and it happened a lot. Empirical data, or human observer accounts, usually relate that there is emotion involved or associated with kinetic events.
If you have move around my website, you may have seen references to my setting off racks of pagers and making my coworkers laugh, or walking behind my friend’s car and making the taillights blink after arriving home from eating dinner. You may have read that I tripped an intercom and a bellhop responded to our conference room from across the lobby at the Mystic Lake casino. Unfortunately, like Lyn Buchanan, I have fried a laptop and, for myself, learned the hard way not to forget to use a surge protector. Essentially, after years of observing similar events, I shifted my conscious awareness and acceptance of them into “I have patterns,” and concluded that I was causing these events to occur.
These are just a few examples. If you search PK on the internet, you will find many examples of people discussing or demonstrating it. Among them are Ingo Swann, Uri Geller and Nina Kulagina. Some research facilities, such as IONS and Fourmilab are attempting to record individual data using random number generators (RNG) or random event generators (REG). The Global Coherence Initiative and The Global Consciousness Project have noted changes in data patterns that seem to correlate a collective group focus during large scale global events, and just prior to those events. The terminology and language remain fuzzy and overlapping at times as cross-scientific disciplines continue to collect data and analyze results.
I hope that research in biofields and Magnetocardiograms will shed some light on these complex parts of us that we are only just beginning to understand. I found Dr. William Tiller’s Science and Human Transformation: Subtle Energies, Intentionality and Consciousness an excellent read regarding subtle energies, human systems, and physics. The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM), is an invaluable source of research material, organizations and links.
I attended a remote viewing presentation given by Joe McMoneagle at the Rhine Research Center in June of 2008, and had the great opportunity to swap stories with him about PK. It isn’t every day that a person is able to discuss physics and entanglement, and I was happy to hear what he had to say on the subject, since sharing experiences gives us the opportunity to look for common threads as we study this phenomenon. Admittedly, these sessions seem pretty “far out” to people who are not familiar with them but us participants have a tendency to ante up with our stories to see if we can learn something. Essentially all round-table ideas are voiced because we are all curious and science “just doesn’t know how it works.”
Here is an example of our group at the Rhine Center discussing PK with Joe as we wonder whether or not we might, at the quantum level, have some sort of “agreement” with electricity. A fellow remote viewer sent the link to this video to me. The following Monday morning I went straight to my manager’s office. He took one look at my face, raised an eyebrow and I knew that he was wondering what I was going to tell him this time. I cringed and said, “I’m on YouTube…”
