Aesthetic Impact | Nonlocality / Quantum Research: Global Coherence

I began looking for studies of nonlocality when I took the course “Alternative Medicine: Expanding Medical Horizons – A Report to the National Institutes of Health on Alternative Medical Systems and Practices in the United States.” Remote viewing sessions and the psi games at IONS are examples of nonlocality. Some sample remote viewing sessions are here on my site, but many more are posted in the Climate Change and Multiple Universe Projects at The Farsight Institute (Brown, “Public Experiments of Remote Viewing)”. Comparing remote viewing session summaries to feedback photos, it is clear that there is something measurable happening in the way of nonlocality.

Those are individual examples of people obtaining black and white results. They realize that they are capable of doing things with their minds that they didn’t know they could do before. Knowing that, I have a hope. A hope that people will take a leap of faith and participate in projects where there is no viable short-term feedback. The Global Consciousness Project (“What is the Nature of Global Consciousness?”) and Global Coherence Initiative (Environmental Responsibility, Personal Coherence, Planetary Consciousness, Social Harmony) are two such projects..

Both of these sites are monitoring field-consciousness effects. When large global events occur that capture the attention of millions of people, changes in the data are noted at that time, and just prior to those events. Some examples include the tragedy of 9/11 and, more recently, the election results of President Barack Obama.

What could this mean? Per Dean Radin, in The Conscious Universe – The Scientific Proof of Psychic Phenomena, “These studies could also have profound implications for the understanding of social order and disorder” (174). They suggest that the collective thoughts of large groups of people make a difference that we are just now beginning to be able to measure.

Both websites offer opportunities for participation on a global scale. The GCP Real-time Dot(“The Real Time Dot”) collects data continually and runs statistical analysis ten minutes after being generated, showing coherence on a global scale. Currently listing over ten thousand members, the Global Coherence Initiative(Environmental Responsibility) offers webinars and sends alerts to members requesting they send positive thoughts, or heart-focused intentions to areas of the planet under stress.

Looking at the field-consciousness data collected during large global events indicates that focused intent does affect randomness. This would lead to the hope that positive, focused intent might make a difference. Sending “much love and greetz” could give "going green" a whole new meaning.
