Synchronicities: Submit Your Story
Teresa Frisch, RN 6.28.09
Human observations may become more valuable as we move into increasingly finite areas of measurable science. Empirical Vignettes: Developing the Language is dedicated to examples of what we have always called déjà' vu, synchronicities, premonitions or precognition. If we are to look for patterns in the chaos, it is first important that we acknowledge these events and document them instead of ignoring them or shuffling them into the realm of a bad case of indigestion.
Do you have a déjà' vu or synchronous event type of story you would like to share? I have spoken with Dr. Dean Radin, Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, regarding what specific information, if any, might be valuable to him as a scientist. His recommendation was that first we should just get people into the mindset of documenting events.
I have no template for you to use as an example of how to write your stories other than 1) I must insist that you give them a title 2) try to be as specific and detailed as possible and 3) include any pertinent pre-event or correlating thoughts as we all tend to interpret things differently. I have no plan for if or where anyone would ever need to use them, but am offering to gather them and store them "just in case." I have written some of mine as examples and you can read them here in Empirical Vignettes and will try to post some of yours here as well.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. They may be "just stories" now but they might spark something important in a quantum physicist someday.
Thanks,
